Four Seasons Quilt

Feast your eyes.  You can click the photo to enlarge and then click again for lots of details.  It's so interesting to compare to the finished flimsy, below.

The quilt is about 48" x 60" or so.

I have been waiting to see this quilt all finished and the wait was worth it! I love the quilting, different for each season, and the choice of quilting design for each sky is truly inspired.

Brava!

Chris did a wonderful job. I love the detail on the trees and it's a lot bigger than I thought it was.

I really LOVE this quilt! I don't know what it is about it, but it's one of my favorites!

For the record - in the photo, the quilt is hanging over the front of a four drawer legal lateral filing cabinet (to help get a feel for the size).

My co-workers thoroughly enjoyed exploring the quilt - looking at the differences in each season, finding the cats (indoors and out), noticing the smoke coming from the wonky chimneys, and discovering new details each time they walked by.

Thanks for sharing it with us!
