Colorado on the Rocks

The Colorado Quilt is finished.

I'll get a few more beauty shots, have it appraised, show it off to my students at QT this coming Saturday, my family at Thanksgiving and then it will fly across the US to the high desert where my brother & sister-in-law live. There the quilt will live a life of a bed quilt.

A life of its own, so special, Super photo shoot, and soon to be seen and admired by more. Such a pity it cannot be displayed when on the plane too, would be a flight-stopper!!!

It looks even better outdoors than it did in the earlier photos -- so deep and soft and interesting. WELL DONE!!!!

What a beauty, Lynne. Congratulations on a great finish. It's all amazing, but I especially love the mountains on the sides of the barn. Of course I have a favorite bird or two also!

What a wonderful quilt! Your brother and sister-in-law will treasure it. I recently purchased your bird tutorial and found some fabric in my stash that I think will work well.
