Note: All quilts shown here are completely original, designed and sewn by me, Lynne Tyler. They are all free-pieced or "improvisationally" pieced. They are NOT paper-pieced.

The Quick  Brown Fox, 2010
When I made the letters for Letters From Home, I also made the letters with black backgrounds. I had to use them in something, and I remembered this phrase from the days when I took typing lessons.

The Rules, Helen's version, 2010
This was a swap quilt for my friend Helen Simpson, who lives in Kununurra Australia.

Tonya's Rules, 2010
When Tonya saw photos of the Rules quilt I made for Helen, she asked me to make a flimsy for her. She wanted bright colors and a lot of "Cat action." Tonya was my letter making mentor. How could I say no?

No Rules for Julie, 2010
I made a Rules quilt for my best friend, Julie. She asked for jewel toned colors, asterisk flowers, butterflies and all kinds of extras. I also hid some "FUNs" in the quilt, because you could miss them! It's one of my best quilts.
